Once upon a time, in a peaceful little village, there lived two adorable girls named Olivia and Aria. Olivia had skin as fair as snow, while Aria had a beautiful, sun-kissed complexion.
The two were inseparable. They were the best of friends, spending every day going to school and playing together. However, they shared one little secret: they loved almost everything—except vegetables.
One day, a mysterious witch arrived in the village. She possessed a magical mirror that could answer any question.
Every day, the witch would ask her mirror, “Mirror, mirror, who is the fairest in the village?”
The mirror always replied, “The fairest in the village are Olivia and Aria.”
Jealousy consumed the witch, and she decided to make the girls lose their beauty.
Disguising herself as a kind old lady, the witch approached Olivia and Aria with a basket of colorful candies. Smiling warmly, she said, “Dear children, try these special treats I’ve made just for you!”
Without hesitation, Olivia and Aria each took a candy. But as soon as they popped the candies into their mouths, they felt a sharp pain in their cheeks. Horrified, they looked at each other and saw that their faces had changed into something strange and unrecognizable.
Panicking, they ran to the river to see their reflections. The sight brought tears to their eyes. Staring back at them were not their familiar faces but those of two strange, ugly little girls.
Soon, they heard rumors of a kind wizard who lived in the nearby forest. The wizard, they were told, might be able to help break the terrible curse.
Hand in hand, Olivia and Aria bravely ventured into the mysterious woods.
After a long journey, they finally found the wizard and poured out their story to him.
The wizard listened carefully and then smiled. “Breaking this curse is quite simple,” he said. “You only need to eat vegetables every day.”
“Vegetables?” Olivia and Aria exclaimed in disbelief.
The wizard nodded and handed them a basket filled with fresh vegetables. “These vegetables have magical powers that can restore your beauty. Eat them daily, and soon you’ll see the change.”
Taking the basket of magical vegetables, Olivia and Aria returned home. They followed the wizard’s advice and made sure to eat some vegetables with every meal.
Day by day, their faces began to transform, and their natural beauty returned.
One bright morning, Olivia and Aria looked in the mirror and saw their old, lovely selves smiling back at them.
But the magic didn’t stop there. They noticed that eating vegetables not only made them beautiful but also filled them with energy and made them healthier than ever.
Over time, Olivia and Aria no longer dreaded eating vegetables; they even started to enjoy them! Even after the curse was lifted, they continued to eat vegetables every day.
From then on, Olivia and Aria were not just the most beautiful girls in the village but also the healthiest and happiest.
